Birds and Birding Birds of the Macphail Woods
Here is a complete list of bird species that have been observed in the Macphail Woods. To include birding id info here would be a large undertaking and repeating information that is already available. While there are many birding sites to choose from, the USGS website which draws on the Patuxent Wildlife Research Center is an excellent resource for bird identification as well as population studies of that species. I like the "trifold" presentation of the information laid out on the site.
